This morning in assembly we received some wonderful certificates and cheques from kind representatives from the Royal Canadian Legion. We all enjoyed writing our poems and essays on such an interesting topic.Alison says: "I was very thrilled when I got called up to the front of the assembly."
"I was surprised to know that I won second place in the junior essay!" exclaimed Madeline.
"It was an amazing experience!" commented Charlotte.
''Being told I had won third place in the junior poem was an outstanding goal accomplished," said Peter.
We'd like to thank Mrs. Block, Mr. Lyle and Mr. Cochrane for joining us at this morning's Assembly and making these fabulous presentations.
