Today we woke up 10 minutes earlier than usual to collect different kinds of leaves from our yards. We brought these leaves to school while they were fresh.We got some colourful candle wax and arranged the leaves and the candle wax on sheets of wax paper. Ms. Clark and Ms. Meglaughlin ironed the wax paper sheets together for each of us. If we wanted, we could add the candle wax, too. After, we made the borders and handles. It was a lot of fun making the autumn lanterns.
